"We present the latest EP of the 2011-2012 season for Cicuta Netlabel.
A good dose of free and strong techno to enjoy at the beach or at the
mountains. We promise to rest and recharge the batteries to re-cap in
September, the month in which we celebrate our first anniversary.
We start our trip in Italy, flamboyant finalist of Euro soccer. There
we discovered Stefano Infusino, talented producer who brings us a
powerful track with a heavy bass, as a heat-wave falling on our ears…
After going through labels like Heaven To Hell, Gynoid or Shout Records,
arrives to Cicuta, not to be missed…
We continue with English Ross Alexander, an artist who even had a
late start in point of production (about 2009) in just over 3 years has
managed to walk his techno in important labels such as Naked Lunch,
Elektrax or UTCH. Sure his dark and industrial techno not leaves you
unsatisfied.
The next stop takes us to Birmingham, one of the central points of
the techno scene, to meet Jake Conlon, an artist whom we met at the
recommendation of a friend and left us open-mouthed. Do not fail to hear
everything that makes this artist, quality techno…
The next artist to debut at Cicuta is the Irish Tony McMurray, better
known as Hoth System. His techno is fresh, lively, different, an oasis
in the desert of loops in which we live.
As usual we could not miss a new product from the Spanish quarry.
Here we bring from Canillejas, a popular district of Madrid, possibly
the artist who makes more tracks in a year. After an earlier stage in
which published in labels like Zimmer or Audioexit under a different
pseudonym, Structural Form reaches Cicuta to put a good dose of
hard-techno in the ears of our listeners.
Finally, as usual, from Drugstore we present an own work. This time, a
stronger track, closer to conventional techno. A gift for you to
remember us until September…
