Release Date: 13 November 2012
Break Science: Break Science Music
Michal Menert: http://michalmenert.com/

Michal Menert:
Colorado-based Michal Menert comes from a complex musical background of playing guitar, keyboards, and dabbling in a variety of other instruments giving him a unique approach to composing his own style. Menert co-produced the debut Pretty Lights album, Taking Up Your Precious Time, released his first solo album, Dreaming of a Bigger Life in the Spring of 2010, and most recently dropped the mega-LP, Even If It Isn’t Right in April 2012. He also performs with Paul Basic under the moniker Half Color. His sound combines obscure vintage samples from both Eastern European and Western vinyl with rich analog synthesis and organic hard hitting beats. It is a fusion of yesterday’s elements and tomorrow’s ideas.

Break Science:
The Brooklyn based electronic duo, Break Science kick off 2012 with the release of their second EP entitled Monolith Code (Pretty Lights Music). As seasoned producers and touring veterans, Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee have produced and performed with everyone from The Fugees, Wu Tang Clan, and Talib Kweli, to reggae Lee Scratch Perry and Miles Davis collaborator, John Scofield. On Monolith Code, Break Science evokes a wide spectrum of electronic genres filtered through a musician's lens, all while moving people spiritually AND on the dance floor.

VA - Collage

Release Date: 08 January 2012

"Far from Moscow” is a project designed to aggregate and foster music over a very wide area. We have now decided - at the start of 2012 - to release regular compilations, dedicated to *varied* genres and digital material that might otherwise go unnoticed.

These multifaceted compilations should help to slow the rate at which young and impressive artists move across the horizon. The same albums should also help to nurture new audiences, both at home and… far from Moscow.

The tracks on display here come from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Lithuania. All were published in the first week of 2012. Within each file you'll find photographic, geographic, and archival information with which to learn more about these artists."

Jonah Dempcy - All's Fair in Love of Wax

Release Date: 23 December 2011
Official website: http://www.jonahdempcy.com

"Jonah Dempcy is a 27-year-old musician and producer based out of Seattle.
Jonah initially began releasing music under the name Revolution Void in 1996 at the age of 12.
Taking cues from electro-acoustic pioneers DJ Shadow, Medeski Martin & Wood and DJ Cam, Revolution Void presents the listener with a unique combination of electronic music and modern jazz.
The sound of Revolution Void has progressed over the years. Originally, it was “pure” electronic music – breaks, downtempo, atmospheric and so on. But, over the years, Jonah began to incorporate live jazz and funk improvisation. Jonah considers his main jazz influences to be John Coltrane and Cannonball Adderley, as well as contemporary artists such as Kurt Rosenwinkel and Brad Mehldau.

In 2000, Jonah began working with Michael Shrieve (Santana) as an engineer and producer. Jonah worked as an engineer on Shrieve’s album with Bill Frisell, Dave Holland and Elvin Jones. He also produced music for Michael Carabello (Santana) and Theodore “Lolo” Beaubrun jr. (The Boukman Eksperyanz). Michael Shrieve laid down drum tracks on the Revolution Void album Increase the Dosage.
Jonah also began collaborating with drummer/producer Dave Hill jr. and James “Roto” Rotondi at this time (the duo make up NYC electro-acoustic outfit Jettatura). Jonah worked with both of them extensively, collaborating with Dave Hill on Revolution Void material and on their own side projects, while Roto laid down tracks on Increase the Dosage. Roto is perhaps best known for his work with the seminal electro-acoustic group The Grassy Knoll. He has also toured with the French band Air.
From 1996-2001, Revolution Void performed live over 100 times. Live performances consist of synthesizers, samplers and drum machines, all playing loops, mixed and matched on the fly. This ensures a unique performances every time. On top of this, Jonah improvises with turntables and keyboards as well, and has featured guest performers including Michael Shrieve, Dave Hill jr. and many others.
In 2001, Jonah began focusing more on music production, though he still performs live on rare occasions. At this time, Jonah began actively seeking out musicians to collaborate with. These collaborations can be heard on recent releases such as Increase the Dosage, Effects of Elevation and Thread Soul.
In 2005, Jonah began releasing music online through the Creative Commons, beginning with the album Increase the Dosage. Since then, Revolution Void has been an active member of the online music-sharing renaissance, regularly releasing albums and singles in their entirety for free online."

Rok: 2008
Label: Budabeats
Węgierski zespół grający na żywo, w skład którego wchodzą:
Melinda Csorba, Ádám Kovács, Dániel Gál, János Bene, Árpád Kiss, József Lakinger.
Pierwszą rzeczą jaką wydali był singiel "Hi Fi" w 2002 roku. Później po dłuższej przerwie (rok 2006) wrócili w całkiem innej konwencji z albumem "From The Head To The Feet", który wydali własnym sumptem.

Kolejnymi produkcjami zespołu są 2 EPki (a raczej single) wydane w netlabelu Budabeats: "Nofun Nofun " oraz "Must Be The Neitherland". W obu przypadkach mieliśmy do czynienia z tytułowym utworem i jego 3 remixami. Lecz oba single zwróciły uwagę poważniejszych wytwórni (Narrator Records, Wagram Records)
i  w obu singlach zostały "podkradzione" 2 wersje utworów.
